MULTILATERAL EXERCISES KAKADU 2018
19 -21 September 2018; The Republic of Singapore Navy deployed its Victory-class Missile corvettes to participates the Multilateral Exercises Kakadu held in the Northern Australia. The two Victory-class Missile corvettes of The Republic of Singapore Navy were visiting JICT Harbour, Jakarta before they went back to Singapore Naval Based. There is RSN Valiant and Vigour
The Victory class missile corvettes are multi-purpose ships based on the MGB 62 design by Germany's Lürssen shipyard for the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). The six ships were commissioned between 1990 and 1991 and form the 188 Squadron of the RSN. The Republic of Singapore Navy operates 6 Victory Class units - Victory RSS, RSS Valour, RSS Vigilance, Valiant RSS, Vigour RSS and Vengeance RSS.
Valiant RSS and RSS Vigour is a victory type corvette warship with GRT 605 tons, LOA 62.4 meters long, Beam 8.5 meters, and Draft 3.1 meters. also with a maximum speed of 35 knots, and equipped with various weapons and complete war equipment .
During the visit, the Singapore AL troupe consisted of Commanding Officer RSS Valiant-91 Lieutenant Colonel Hideki Mizuta, RSS Vigour-92 Commander Major Loy Shing Tong, Commander RSS Valiant-91 Tan Say Yong, and Athan Singapore for Indonesia LTC George Goh.
On this visit, Pasundan Jaya as a ship agent serving their needs when berthing in Jakarta port at JICT II wharf (Jakarta international container terminal 2). Even though there is no special port service requested by the crew of the RSS Valiant and RSS Vigor, but as an agent, Pasundan Jaya performly to provide the best service as long as they berth in Jakarta.
