PORT VISIT OF JAPAN MARITIME SELF-DEFENSE FORCE JS AKEBONO-108 TO JAKARTA
12 - 13 April 2021; The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (Japanese Navy) Ship visited Indonesia on April 12th 2021. The Destroyer Ship Class berthed at the JICT II Pier, Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta to carry out logistics. On the next day, 13 April, JS Akebono DD-108 sailed out of Jakarta and conducted to join overseas training in The Java Sea with the "KRI Bung Tomo-357", The Indonesian Navy Battleship as a sign of friendship between Japan and Indonesia.
The Minister of Defence and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force is committed to further deepening defense corporation with Indonesia to realize "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" and "ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific.
